Before we get to the new year though, just a bit of Chris Pine catchup – and some other celebrities too. He was seen before Christmas, on December 10, at the Sunset Tower alongside some other big stars to celebrate Amanda Anka’s birthday. Amanda is married to Jason Bateman who, as you know, is tight with Jimmy Kimmel and Jennifer Aniston and that whole crew. Evidently Chris Pine is in there too, as well as Channing Tatum. So it was a Horrible Bosses reunion. We never had a chance to post these shots during the holidays and you can see those below.

 

Yesterday Chris stepped out for coffee in LA. Does it surprise you how many celebrities don’t have coffee makers? Anyway, after a very quiet 2021, Chris has two movies expected in 2022 including the highly anticipated Don’t Worry Darling, directed by Olivia Wilde and featuring an ensemble cast led by Florence Pugh. It’s due out in September, which is festival season. So it would seem like the film could make an award season run. A teaser for Don’t Worry Darling was released months ago; it was super short though, it set the mood, but there wasn’t much more to it. I’m waiting for a longer preview, and I’m wondering if they’ll do one for the Super Bowl. Or if it’s still too early yet. 

In the meantime, please enjoy a Chris Pine throwback. It’s a video that went a bit viral, that was showing up on my timeline over and over again leading up to NYE because… I guess my algorithm has decided that Chris Pine is my Best Chris? I don’t ever remember deciding this for myself but something about my history is making my algorithm serve me a lot of Chris Pine content. If Pine is your Best Chris though, I’ve no doubt you’ll appreciate this. Or maybe you won’t.
