As I said the other day after the Emmys, not a big fan of beads and sequins. However, in Christina’s case, she’s going for the old Hollywood thing, the back to basics spin, and when you doll that up in a package this delightful, it becomes very hard to hate. Especially now that she’s so sweet and married. The pre-show interview? Charming. She was humble and eloquent, classy, she’s lost that ridiculously phony urban twang – I really, really enjoy her right now. And yes, like you, I’ve heard about the attitude and the demands, I’ve heard all that. But Christina Aguilera is a true diva. With a true knockout voice. For that, I’m willing to cut her a little slack… savvy?
