I don’t remember seeing Constance Wu with bangs during the Crazy Rich Asians North American press tour. Here she is with long bangs last night in London at the CRA premiere. Not my favourite look. They’re so stringy. And, maybe this is my bias about bangs, but they’re covering so much of her pretty face. WHY?
This dress isn’t doing anything for me either. The colour, the ruching at the top, the material, it seems… like it’s the end of a prom night, deflated, especially that sheer detail across her torso that feels totally unnecessary.
By the way, Jim Sturgess showed up to support Constance last night. Have you heard about how they know each other? He told the story on Instagram a few weeks ago. She used to be his driver!
