Timothée Chalamet was in Paris yesterday, continuing the European press tour for A Complete Unknown. He’s been making headlines this week for rolling up to the London premiere on a Lime bike, revealing later on Quotidien that he ended up getting fined something like 70 Euros for not parking it properly. Worth it, obviously, for the publicity and marketing – on both sides. 

 

The whole Lime thing was widely shared and added to the growing list of Timmy’s amusing moments on this press tour but also… Lime definitely benefited from it, which Timmy called out during this appearance on Quotidien, a show he visits regularly whenever he’s promoting a movie because, of course, he speaks French and can do more media there than most American stars given his proficiency with the language. 

 
 

Kylie Jenner has joined Timmy on this leg of the tour and it’s not her first. She was with him for part of the Wonka press tour last year but stayed more undercover. So this feels to me like a new milestone in their relationship. Yes, we’ve seen them at award shows, we’ve seen them at sporting events, but this is the first time that we’ve seen them papped, holding hands, heading to or leaving a party/dinner/event. It’s a celebrity couple ritual, right? Timmy and Kylie haven’t given up a set of these until now…

Two years into their relationship. 

 

Believe it or not, it was two years ago this January when Timmy and Kylie sparked at Paris Fashion Week. TWO YEARS. 

So this might also be the reason she’s with him in Paris: it’s their anniversary. This means that they’ve lasted about as long as Timmy and Lily-Rose Depp. And it is, quite possibly, his longest perhaps most significant romantic relationship. Is everyone OK? Is anyone going to be normal about this?
