Leonardo DiCaprio was trending on Twitter yesterday because a new photo of him with Lily Gladstone from Martin Scorsese’s Killers of the Flower Moon was released. Production on the film began last month and the New York Post called him “unrecognisable”. I mean, it’s clearly Leo which is why people were dragging the Post but… also… there are a lot of people who see Leo with what I call “memory eyes”, which is how he looked in Romeo + Juliet. Or maybe The Departed. And the thing is, no matter what he looks like, Leo doesn’t lose opportunities. A woman in his position? Not the same. (Pajiba)
Oh. My. God. I saw A Knight’s Tale, starring Heath Ledger, in theatres and I remember, I came out of there transformed – like in a full blown almost-crisis, take-over-your-life crush on him. It was bad. I had it so bad for him. There’s a scene where he and Shannyn Sossamon do this medieval dance thing and the way he moved, Christ, even now all these years later I can feel the lingering effects of swoon.
