I could watch this video of Dolly Parton recreating her Playboy cover for her husband’s birthday over and over again. Actually, no, I could LISTEN to this video – because it’s not actually the outfit that’s entertaining, it’s what she’s saying and how she says it. I love her little giggle, it kills me. It’s sexy AF! She is so f-cking funny and delightful and, yes, Carl is lucky to be married to her but we’re really lucky to have been entertained by her too. (Dlisted)

There are other shots of her inside the magazine, in a Chanel overalls outfit, for example, that pop so much more. Kelly Ripa will be releasing her first book next year and you know who’ll be the first person I know to read it? Duana. Duana loves a celebrity memoir, it’s one of her many specialties. I don’t read every celebrity memoir but I’m into this one already because Kelly is an actor, who worked for years on a soap opera, and now a talk show host. She went from one daily grind to another – and the work involved in both soaps and daytime television is intense. This is the kind of detail I’m hoping she’ll include. (Cele|bitchy)
I don’t think we talk enough about Miley Cyrus’s album Plastic Hearts. I actually listened to it quite a bit after it came out last year – and it’s really good, at least to me, because I’m so into an 80s sound, so I’m not sure why it didn’t quite land. She released a video for the single “Plastic Hearts” a few days ago and this video is GREAT. Love the aesthetic, love the story. (OMG Blog)
