Eminem performed at V Fest the other day. Rumour has it he was paid 2 million pounds for it. (Source) And Rihanna, who joined him on stage, apparently a million pounds. They performed Love The Way You Lie. The video is below.
Eminem has said, post recovery, that he cannot tour because he doesn’t know how to tour sober. And until he figures that out, there have been no tours. It seems though that his festival appearances have increased in frequency and I wonder whether or not he’s training himself to tour again, in a healthy way, in a slow, methodical way, in a way that guarantees that success. If this is the case, I think it’s smart. A lot smarter than Caleb Followill and Kings of Leon.
