The summer blockbusters, one after the other.

North American release date is May 8th but word is already Paramount has greenlit two Star Trek sequels. Last night at the Australian premiere in Sydney, 1500 had the opportunity to see the new iteration first and despite a media review embargo until April 21st, Trekkies have been abuzz all day.

Photos of the cast are attached – Eric Bana with his wife, Chris Pine, and Zachary Quinto along with JJ Abrams. The Star Trek media tour is making its way around the world and the film will do battle against Wolverine which opens a week earlier. Trekkies vs Mutants. Who wins?
