I LOVE Toni Collette. Loved her in Muriel’s Wedding and loved her in About a Boy – Fiona’s “yeti” coat just about killed me. So we just saw her at the airport in Nice, was standing next to her at baggage claim attended by 3 airport hostesses – the fanfare accorded to a jury member at the festival, I suppose.

She was very blonde, normal body, no makeup, and looks much younger in person - much younger than they made her in Little Miss Sunshine.

Was tempted to sing a few bars of Killing Me Softly but decided to refrain as Dylan, my colleague and cameraman, told me I had bad hair and looked “road weary”.

Sigh.

Maybe later on the Croisette, then? Will keep you posted.
