Look familiar? This was my best dressed pick of the Emmy Awards last week, worn there by Taraji P Henson . It’s Giambattista Valli and I’m surprised to see it brought out so soon but also not mad at it at all. It’s a spectacular dress. It’s probably my favourite dress of the entire year. And Eva’s showing it to us in daylight, from so many different angles. So I don’t understand why more people weren’t going mad for it. How are you not excited about this dress?!
It’s so f-cking good. Look at the combination of those colours – olive green, which is not easy, and sparks of red here and there, and that gorgeous, gorgeous pale pink. Not to mention that cape. Eva actually has an advantage that Taraji didn’t because she’s working the wind here to show off all that movement. The back of it, God, it’s like a garden come to life.
