She’s over Marilyn Manson. She escaped (somewhat) unscathed. She was only 18 at the time. Lured by dark clichés and inexperience, the desire of every teenage girl to seem older, to be taken seriously… the mistakes of youth, should they be held against her forever? I think she knew not what she was doing. And thankfully she’s now outgrown him. But you decide if we will hate on Evan Rachel Wood for homewrecking into adulthood. Let me know.

For now, her black dress, it was exquisite. Have you seen The Wrestler? She was terrific in The Wrestler, as she is in all of her movies. All this talk lately about Kristen Stewart, thanks to those Twilight freaks, about being the actress of a generation… please. I girlcrush on Kristen but Evan’s body of work is much more impressive. And her next release Whatever Works (Woody Allen) is one of the most anticipated films of the year. Maybe SHE should date Robert Pattinson.
