Jodie Turner-Smith is the ELLE January digital cover and everything about this is excellent – from how she’s approaching playing Anne Boleyn to the colours that are popping in these photos and the styling and her face, her ridiculous beautiful face. And I can watch this video of her posing for hours on end. She’s mesmerising. (Go Fug Yourself)
Bruce Willis had an anti-mask moment and is apologising for it which…I mean of all the celebrities to be exposed for not masking, I can’t say that this one surprises me? He doesn’t seem like the kind of dude who appreciates being told what he should or shouldn’t do. As for his “rectal mouth” and how similar it to Trump, remember that time he showed up on a talk show in costume as Trump? There was definitely a similarity. (Dlisted)
Ivanka Trump apparently has her own political ambitions and is feeling anxious that they may be jeopardised by the fact that her father incited an insurrection. ONLY NOW?! What are the chances that Ivanka will be able to mount a comeback? I know at the moment it seems unlikely but… people have short memories. It’s a f-cking scary prospect. (Cele|bitchy)
James Marsden reads his thirst tweets and I haven’t come across to much thirsting over him on social media but he is one of those stars who is recognisable but I don’t know that he has a huge profile. (OMG Blog)
It’s award season which means Hollywood Reporter roundtables and I can’t wait to dig into this one with the directors. And look at the diversity in this group – remember when Natalie Portman called it out at the Golden Globes? This year, the two frontrunners are women. And Spike Lee is in the mix. And I’m thrilled to see Lee Isaac Chung included for Minari, which I’m impatiently waiting to watch. We’ll talk more about this in the coming days. (The Hollywood Reporter)
