Earlier today I marked a Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston anniversary and the Fug Girls have posted another one – they attended the premiere of The Bourne Identity and that is suuuuuch a 2002 outfit on her. I feel like she held onto this look for a long time. (Go Fug Yourself)
Sarah wrote yesterday about body expectations for superhero men and how damaging the conversation can be and there’s also been a conversation (again) lately about Kumail Nanjiani’s body transformation which is even more layered. I recently watched him in Netflix’s Death to 2020 and it wasn’t his body I was thinking about but his hair. He has really good hair! (Dlisted)
Meghan Markle’s sister is coming out with a book and this is not a spoiler: she will be trashing Meghan because she’s been trashing her ever since Meghan and Prince Harry started dating. Let this be the last we speak of this because…we can’t possibly take this seriously like this will be any kind of authentic storytelling here. (Cele|bitchy)
What is the absolute worst food you’ve ever eaten? My answer to this question will always, always, always be RAISINS. I f-cking hate raisins and I will repeat that whenever I can, as often as I can. The other day I was looking for a cookie recipe and I was almost in, until raisins came up in the ingredients list… like they always do, sneak-attacking at the last minute. That’s the other thing about raisins – they’re gross but they’re also evil and scheming. (Pajiba)
Good question: is getting a pet good for your relationship? I can’t answer this generally because… I don’t know any other relationship than my own. So all I can say is that pets have been great for my relationship and the last year would have been so much sh-ttier without our dogs. That said, I hope that with the rise in pet adoptions over the pandemic as many people worked from home, there will not be a corresponding increase in shelter population once people slowly get back to the office, whenever that will be. And also, if you are able to as we have been, please continue to support dog walkers. They’re often overlooked in the “support small business” campaigns. (Vogue)
