Have you seen this outfit on Iggy Azalea? It is, as the Fug Girls say, all about subtlety and restraint. This must be why it was photographed. And photographed perfectly, I might add. Everything is in place. The straps sit so well on her arm that they look like they’re painted on. I’m not convinced they’re not painted on. Wait no. I don’t think they are straps. They appear to be part of the sleeve. A long sleeve. See? Subtlety and restraint! (Go Fug Yourself)
Gabrielle Carteris, who is the head of SAG-AFTRA, has spoken out in support of Scarlett Johansson against Disney. Which means that Scarjo has Andrea Zuckerman on her side! The union repping actors clearly recognises what Sarah wrote in her piece about this dispute last week – which is that you need a major name, with deep pockets, like Scarjo to fight this fight. And not necessarily for rich blockbuster stars but for those lower on the call sheets, and streaming is affecting them too. Which is why SAG-AFTRA is there, to protect them and make sure that the industry continues to work for ALL performers. (Dlisted)
I just came off a junket for etalk for The Chair, the new Netflix show starring Sandra Oh. It was three rooms, and everyone was delightful. You can tell that they’re all super jacked about this series – and Bob Balaban might be the most adorable human I’ve ever met (virtually). Anyway, it sounds like this was the case with the cast of The Suicide Squad too, as Idris Elba was super enthusiastic during all of his press interviews, like this one with Desus and Mero. (Pajiba)
Oprah is talking about her quarantine rules at her house. And I have to say… quarantining for five days in Oprah’s guest house? I would do it for three times that amount of time. It’s not just any guest house – it’s Oprah’s guest house! (Cele|bitchy)
There’s a Georgian restaurant around the corner from my house and I’ve been meaning for months to try it. But it may end up being that I’ll cook it first. I’ve never had Khachapuri before but this bread and cheese and egg thing looks unreal and I’ve decided I’m definitely making it this weekend. (Eater)
