It looks like a quilt, something you throw over yourself on the couch while watching TV – super comfortable, super warm, but also versatile. Come on. She’s made it part of a proper outfit. And this is an outfit.
I’m into the oversize sweater over the culottes. And the way she’s finished it all off with the wine-coloured booties. I also love that the entire look is loose and baggy. That she didn’t succumb to that rule that most people follow where, allegedly, you can’t layer baggy on top of baggy on top of baggy. Why not? Who said it’s math that you have to show off your waist?
