Everyone got all excited this morning when a story circulated this morning originating from Grazia that George Clooney cut Canalis loose. Something about her being too much of a party girl. What? Obviously they don’t know George. Because that is exactly what makes him happy. Supposedly George and Ely decided to stay together through awards season but split up soon after, he for Hawaii on a movie, and she back to Rome.

True? No.

Clooney’s rep issued a statement today killing the rumour:

"Once again the story is made up, spread to other outlets and now denied. But don't let facts get in the way of a good story. "

Please. Like the Italian Queen would walk away so quickly. Besides, she needs to redeem herself from that f-cked up Oscar dress. Remember? Do you remember the low rent sh-t she picked for the Kodak? Let’s revisit.
