It’s noon. And it’s a sunny Vancouver afternoon. There won’t be many of them left. It rains a lot here when it’s not summer.

The best birthday present I’ve ever received was on my 30th. His name is Marcus. He’s lying in a sunpatch right now, totally depressed, wondering if we’ll take him outside today for some fun. His life is so hard. So we’re jamming out early to take him on a hike. He also had an appointment at the vet’s for a nail trim and an anal gland express only he doesn’t know it yet.

Am hoping selfishly, in the world of gossip, it’s a quiet weekend.
