Is the right time...

I love The Cosby Show for a lot of reasons. But the biggest reason is that my ma the Chinese Squawking Chicken loves The Cosby Show. She doesn’t understand most of it. But she still laughs. There’s something about Bill Cosby she finds really, really funny. In the hospital, as she’s fighting, she watches the reruns on the tv. It’s a half hour she spends forgetting about the sh-t her body is putting her through.

People.com reported today that Clarice Taylor who played the grandma on The Cosby Show has passed away at the age of 93. I’m sure her family is devastated and I’m sorry for that so much. My ma is 61. If she can come out of this with even just 10 more years, or 8, or 6, good ones, solid ones, I would take it.

Anyway, this made me want to look for the video - one of the most iconic scenes in the history of television, would you agree? Always makes me happy.

Night Time Is The Right Time. But also, Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night.
