Harry is a good houseguest

Harry Styles is nearing the end of his 30-show residency at Madison Square Garden which started in August. The permanent residents of MSG are, of course, the New York Knicks, it was their home opener last night, and Harry was in the house, even on his off night… which is good manners. Respect the hosts, especially when the hosts are the league champions.

MSG is Harry’s tonight as the Knicks next play in Boston on Friday because his show dates are Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Here he is walking to work in his signature Jacquemus x Nike pink moon shoes (sold out obvs, unless you get them for a markup at a reseller) coordinated with an American Ballet Theatre tee.
Yesterday in his Music Lounge column, MC posted about the virality of Harry’s song “Coming Up Roses” which is likely getting a push from Columbia Records as the next single, and just as Grammys voting is happening. Harry’s Album, Kiss All The Time. Disco Occasionally, has been submitted across several Grammy categories, including the majors. I don’t know that it’s carrying much momentum though in comparison to the other high profile popstar releases. His last album, Harry’s House, won Album of the Year three years ago. Can’t see Harry repeating with this one.

It’s amazing to me, the staying power of Dancing With the Stars, a show I used to dump on all the time but who’s the loser now? DWTS is stronger than ever, with a robust and passionate audience and the celebrity casting is… like… outstanding. I can count on one hand the dance routines I’ve watched throughout the seasons, it’s just not my thing. But I watched the f-ck out of the Julia Stiles's tribute to Heath Ledger because I will never not f-ck with 10 Things I Hate About You and then seeing all the cast members join her at the end? Very high degree of difficulty. (Pajiba)

Sorry, but Princess Kate’s yellow dress last night at the state dinner for the Sultan of Oman was a flop. And I wish PEOPLE would stop calling it “rare” when she wears a tiara because, like, at this point how rare is it really? Back to the dress though… because I don’t think it’s the problem. The problem is her makeup. There are ways to save an ordinary piece of clothing with great hair and makeup but Kate, as I keep saying, is stuck on makeup techniques and palettes from 2008. Someone introduce her to a TikTok tutorial, please. (Celebitchy)
Andrew Scott is the Out Icon of the Year and he is “so grateful to have been born gay”. I am also grateful that he was born gay and grateful that he is posing in a sweater vest without a shirt underneath. His skin is so well moisturised. (Out)
