A celebrity couples update coming out of the long weekend here in Canada – but not THAT couple, if you know who I mean, because Bennifer is getting their own post later today, I’m still writing it. For now though we’ll start with fresh-breaking gossip, maybe gossip, a maybe new couple…
Ayo Edebiri and Jeremy Allen White… WHAT?!
First of all, Ayo covers the new issue of Vanity Fair, and that too will get its own dedicated post either today or tomorrow. Jeremy Allen White was so thirsty to participate in an interview about Ayo that he called the journalist back right away.
“We really enjoy each other in life, on camera and off camera. I have a tremendous amount of respect for her as a person, but also as an artist. And so I hope that sort of that kind of thing shines through on camera between Carm and Syd,” says White, who was so eager to speak about Edebiri that he made time to talk to me within a day of being asked—which never, ever happens. “Syd is always able to...I don’t know, to deliver something different to Carmy, and she’s usually right,” he adds. “And I guess I think Ayo is also usually right.”
With that in mind… here are Ayo and Jeremy this weekend in Chicago at the Cubs game. We’re having issues with embedding tweets right now so click here to see the video. That’s Ayo on the left and Jeremy on the right and he’s kinda rubbing her back and, well, this is an intimate gesture. Friends, as in just friends, can be tactile, no doubt. And sometimes they can even hold hands, when they’re promoting something or at a work event but this is neither one of those things. A back rub is… well… it’s very rarely “just” friendly. Some people online are even reading into her flick of the wrist, as if to tell him to stop because maybe they don’t want to be seen like this?
Is it possible that their professional and onscreen relationship has become more personal? Jeremy’s last situationship was with Rosalía although it’s been a long minute since they were seen together and it’s been long assumed that that was done. Rosalía was Jeremy’s second situationship after his separation following a short but seemingly hot hookup with model Ashley Moore.
Curious to see what will become of all this speculation with Ayo.
From maybe to definitely…
Jason Momoa and Adria Arjona went IG official the other day when he put up this post from his trip to Japan.
First of all, Japan. AGAIN. This is what happens when you go to Japan – it becomes your LIFE. Second, Adria also reposted this to stories:
Last week Jason was speaking at a Comic-Con festival and confirmed he was “very much in a relationship”. According to PEOPLE they are serious, clearly much more serious than his situationship with Eiza Gonzalez a couple of years ago after he confirmed his split from Lisa Bonet. Is it just me or do Eiza and Adria look similar? Can’t just be me because I googled this and other people have said the same thing.
And finally, from new and maybe to over, Taylor Russell and Harry Styles are apparently done after just about a year. The Sun reported it first, and now PEOPLE is on it and no reason is cited, other than the whole different schedules thing but it’s worth mentioning that Taylor also experienced some of what Olivia Wilde had to contend with – some of his deranged fans attacking her for her race and whatever other f-cksh-t rationale they’ve made up so that their fave can remain theirs forever, or if not theirs than with Louis Tomlinson forever and ever. Maybe it’s not all of why they couldn’t make it but the pressure and that toxicity couldn’t have helped.
