Henry and Liv Lo Golding have been in love since they met on New Year’s Day in 2011. They were married five years later, in 2016. Henry and Liv are in isolation together, of course, in Los Angeles. And they’ve fallen in love again… with a dog. Her name is Stella. They adopted her recently after being hooked up with a shelter through Olivia Munn. Stella is a sweetie! And she’s clearly fallen in love with Henry and Liv too:
Some people don’t like referring to themselves as “daddy” when it comes to their pets. I get it. It can be a little corny. Sometimes though… it kinda feels more appropriate than your first name. Jacek is “daddy” to our dogs and I’m “mummy” and it vibed weird for me to ask Marcus (when he was with us), Barney, and Elvis, “Where’s Jacek?” But, yes, if you’re rolling your eyes at it, I can’t really defend myself.
Anyway, like most people who welcome a pet into their home, all Henry and Liv can do right now is take pictures of their best girl.
The Goldings were photographed taking Stella out for a walk yesterday and working on some training. She’s already better on leash than my two assholes. I saw an article today warning that dogs may also put on the “Quarantine 15” during lockdown. Pretty sure, given the Golding lifestyle, that this will not be a problem for Stella. But for those of us with pets at home, it’s something to consider – can you resist the temptation to over-treat them? At my house, “mummy” is better at this than “daddy”.
