A week ago yesterday, at the Golden Globes, Hudson Williams generated the most media impact value among all male celebrities on the red carpet. One weekend later, he seems to be doing the same for Milan Fashion Week with his debut appearance there.

As expected on Friday, Hudson walked for Dean and Dan Cate’s Dsquared 2, making it a Canadian collaboration. But he wasn’t just a regular model, he actually opened the show.

Here’s some footage from the fitting and rehearsal – Hudson, clearly, is as chaotic as ever.

That energy continued through the weekend as he was all over social media with people filming him at every party he attended, and while he may be new at the fame thing, he’s not so naïve to be unaware of what a heatscore he is right now, that people have their phones all whenever he’s around. And, so far at least, he seems to be comfortable with all the attention. Not Shane, more Ilya.

Heated Rivalry, of course, is the most hyped show on streaming right now, Crave’s crown jewel and HBO Max’s new shiny thing. Over at Netflix, they’re trying to generate the same buzz for People We Meet On Vacation, starring Emily Bader and Tom Blyth. I’m sure people are watching but it’s probably nowhere near the cultural takeover of HR

Although the thirst for Tom, no doubt, has increased over the last week or so. Which means Hudson Williams + Tom Blyth in Milan together has become an internet obsession. They hung out over the weekend, creating a fan and paparazzi frenzy, and they were front row at the Giorgio Armani show today.

Hudson wore Armani at the Globes, it makes sense that he was at the show today – and if we’re going by the public’s reaction, he was the main character. My takeaway from the footage of him arriving is that he either doesn’t give a f-ck about the media training or his team isn’t even trying to media train him because with this many eyeballs on him all the time, he’s still lighting up like it’s 1996 when other stars in his position would hide their habits and only show their goody-goody sides.

Obligatory PSA – smoking is bad for you. Optional FYI – sooooo many celebrities still smoke.

In other Heated Rivalry news, for the two people out there who remain unconvinced that the show is a phenomenon, it got the Saturday Night Live treatment this weekend. I screamed so much the first I saw this I had to watch it again and still screamed too much that I had to watch it a third time to properly appreciate every single joke.

“Slytherin…to my bum” – I will never recover.
