Very much into Maggie Gyllenhaal’s Chanel look in Cannes. The top is perfect, it fits perfectly and falls perfectly. And who doesn’t want to flounce around in a tulle skirt? She can actually flounce around in this, nothing is restrictive, but it’s still formal and not overly feminine but still very sexy – at least to me. (Cele|bitchy)
No one is surprised by this, right? Mel Gibson saluting Donald Trump? Not shocking. Addison Rae apparently surprised some people but then others were like, oh we knew about this so it’ll be interesting to see how she navigates this as her profile grows. (Dlisted)
This dress on Andra Day though… WOW. I mean the dress is really there, or not there, to showcase HER, right? I mean, she looks amazing. But I do have a complaint, because I’m so nitpicky about material and sh-t, I just wish someone had yanked it taut so that you can’t see the folds and ripples and the fabric bunching. (Go Fug Yourself)
Adrien Brody and Georgina Chapman walked the carpet together in Cannes and Kayleigh Donaldson brings up one of my favourite magazine spreads ever – from back in the day when Adrian and Elsa Pataky were together and lived in a “castle” in upstate New York. That whole spread, in HELLO!, and the photos, were a f-cking scream. (Pajiba)
In her post about the Emmy nominations today, Duana put in a lot of exclamation points about A Black Lady Sketch Show, which she is evangelical about, with good reason. So if you haven’t ever watched and are curious, Vulture has put together a list of best sketches. And it’s great and these sketches should be watched over and over because they’re hysterical, but a full episode really gives you a flow of how they’re innovating on this series. Summer homework!
