Yelena Isinbayeva last night on NBC’s Olympic coverage. Amazing. Finally a Russian diva to entertain at the Games. No one does drama like a Russian diva. Just ask Svetlana Khorkina. Watching Yelena own that Bird’s Nest last night, prancing around the track like some kind of Jolie scripting her own film… it was the best thing ever. Love, love, love, LOVE her.

And also Canada’s Ian Millar, 9 time Olympian, 61 years old, who brought home silver for Canada and dedicated it to his late wife. He lost her in March. Ian is headed to London in 2012.
