Dear Gossips,

It’s Tabloid Wednesday! At the writing of this open, I’d not seen all the covers for the new weeklies. But Jennifer Aniston has to be on at least three. After all, in announcing the engagement on Sunday, she gave them enough time.

Today is tricky as I’m travelling and my flight leaves early which means the entire column was pre-written between 2am - 7am PT. Will address any urgent stories when I land in Toronto late afternoon.

I was shouted at a lot yesterday by some tall people over my disparaging of the kitten heel. We will continue this fight today. Or, rather, because I am a height-challenged coward, Duana is fighting my battles for me.

Am still in Olympic withdrawal. Never thought I would miss weightlifting this much.
