Dear Gossips,

Over the last several weeks or so, half a dozen readers have been harassing me regularly about Misfits. OK fine. I did. And you were right. I am OBSESSED. Blazed through season 1 this weekend, am about to kick into Season 2, and now my worst, worst, WORST fear is that someone in Hollywood will try to adapt it for America and sh-t on the original. Like they’re about to do with Shameless. For f-ck’s sake they cast Emmy Rossum as FIONA!!!

Anyway, Misfits isn’t hard to find online. It’s all over YouTube. It’s all over everywhere, very, very watchable. And the perfect escape during the holiday season when you’ve had enough of your family and need some young delinquent superhero sex and comedy, British style. Here’s the cast at the BAFTAs in June when the show, after only its first season, won Best Drama Series over every other show on the BBC.

It was a busy weekend. A lot of photos including Ryan and Jake, but not together, and the Holy Twins, and where the f-ck is Garrett Hedlund? Also, I felt pain for De Niro when he had to say the words “Diddy Dirty Money” on live television. Why IS Diddy anyway? Not only because he sucks as a human being but Jesus, he Cannot.Rap. Sometimes I wonder if embarrassment is going extinct.
