Happy New Year!

Especially for Lindsay Lohan who is out of rehab and so enlightened she’s now quoting Gandhi. Where? Oh of course on Twitter. It’s only too bad this new sober enlightenment isn’t something she shares with her sister who at 17 now is hungrier than ever for major fame and who speaks, at best, with a third grade education. But she knows how to pose for a photo shoot. What else matters? More on this later.

While Lilo’s done with treatment, David Arquette is just starting. He’s been on a slide for months, still reeling from his split with Courteney Cox. So – hypothetically speaking of course because she was true the entire time they’ve been married, right? – does this mean that if/when she officially steps out with her Cougar Town co-star, she gets a pass about when that relationship started?

Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds both ended their marriages in 2010. They celebrated New Year’s Eve together.

2011 is getting off to a good smutty start.
