Dear Gossips,

Last night’s Conan, to me anyway, was probably the funniest of the week. He’s feisty and it’s gold. And it gets even better when he gets to f-ck around with a friend, as he and Ricky Gervais took it to NBC together, likely infuriating executives in the meantime. Wouldn’t you want to be in that boardroom post-taping when they screen the show before it goes to air?

As always, Gawker’s clipped it all. Click here to watch highlights and also Letterman’s aggressive attack on NBC chief Jeff Zucker. As for Jay Leno... well... his arrogant refusal, thus far, to step aside, according to Chez Pazienza is “really no surprise: He's a good guy but he's been coasting on ironically aimless ambition, unable to tell you why he wants what he wants only that he wants it, for years". When you put it that way...
