Dear Gossips,

There was an insightful article on Megan Fox in the NY Times late last Fall examining Fox’s PR dilemma: having come so far so fast, how do you stay this year’s girl when the year is almost over? Indeed...how? Especially when even the boys seem bored of her?

AskMen.com has released its annual list of Top 99 Most Desirable Women and Megan Fox, ranked 2nd last year, has fallen out of the Top 10, as Emmanuelle Chriqui occupies #1 in 2010 after 6 million votes from AskMen.com readers. Click here for the NY Times article. Not to say that the Fox days are over, but the way she’s perceived so far, girls like her are easily replaceable. And don’t think her team hasn’t noticed. From a pop culture perspective, will be interesting to see how she plays this going forward.

As for the rest of the AskMen.com list – Kate Beckinsale at #3, more evidence she’s no longer an actress and now simply a skin girl, my girl Natalie Portman checks in at #17, and Kristen Stewart impresses in 21st position, ahead of Jessica Biel and Scarlett Johansson, and many, many others. WHO DAT?

It’s good to hear from you Saints fans.

And it’s good to hear from all of you who wrote with Golden Globes comments and criticism and more yesterday. Am unable to reply to every message but promise, I read them all. Thrilled you enjoyed the live blog, can’t wait for the Grammys.

Today – it’s Tuesday. Back to regularly scheduled gossip including the same old shenanigans from Jennifer Aniston and a Twilight update but I’m warning you right now Twi-Hards, it has nothing to do with the LOVE.

Yours in gossip,

Lainey
