Dear Gossips,

Just a quick note as I’m still at Sundance covering the festival for etalk, there will be no liveblog today. It’s a buzzkill. Especially when we could have talked Oscar nominations all hour. I will however be talking to an Oscar nominee this afternoon. More on that later.

As for the other nominations…

Banksy is going to the Oscars. BANKSY. I wonder if he’s laughing his ass off. I wonder if Justin Timberlake is sulking in a corner.

A more extensive discussion to follow but for now, The King’s Speech is making a charge. Good. We need some suspense, since everything else seems like a foregone conclusion.
