Dear Gossips,

Well, tonight’s the night. That George Clooney and Brad Pitt go back to back at Roy Thomson Hall in Toronto, proper mayhem to kick off TIFF 2011. Press screenings for both The Ides of March and Moneyball have been happening over the next two days and both are confirmed to be likely contenders. Brad Pitt is VERY, VERY good in Moneyball. And even though the film took so long to produce, it almost seems like it waited for him to acquire a certain...gravitas, maturity, something?...to give the character and the story what it needed. Already the Oscar buzz for both Ides and Moneyball and Clooney and Pitt has begun. Now they’re waiting on Matt Damon to come in with his We Built a Zoo and it’s an award season ultimate fantasy.

Anyway, needless to say, the Brange is the major money shot tonight on the carpet. Please let there not be a f-cking riot. Few years ago they were here and people lost their minds in Yorkville, their car was almost stampeded. Remember? It’s one of my favourite stories and I love telling it over and over again. Some crazy bitch actually lifted up her baby to the window like she wanted it to be blessed by Brad.

The other money shot though, at least for me, is a photo of Clooney and Ryan Gosling arm in arm all laughy and smirky and chummy. And, of course, “after the show it’s the after-party”. I’ll be tweeting all weekend from the party circuit. This is my Twitter: https://twitter.com/LaineyGossip.

Have a great weekend!

Yours in gossip,

Lainey

PS. Lindsay Lohan denies that her sister has been f-cking with her face and body which... is that the official occupation now? Lying?
