Dear Gossips,

By far, the most email I’ve received this week has been in response to this article about Sarah Jessica Parker. So clearly there was an attachment. And clearly a disengagement. Because, surprisingly enough, not one of those messages was sent in her defence. Rather, if I’m to gauge, solely from the contents of my inbox, I’d say that SJP has disappointed many of you. Interestingly enough, many of you also compared her to Jennifer Aniston. Aniston hasn’t disappointed you because, as noted by several readers, you have never had any expectation of her. But you did have expectations for SJP. And she either hasn’t met them, in your minds, or she stopped meeting them at some point. What then does she have to do to get back to where she was, if she was anywhere at all to begin with?

Big ups to Vancouver’s Bee Kim Heng Jerky for making it on Dragons’ Den last night! Like I’ve been saying - it’s the BEST in the world!

I didn’t watch X-Factor. I meant to, but my book tower is turning into a dangerous situation and also Sixteen Candles was on TV and it’s been so long since I’ve had some time with Jake Ryan. Movies like Sixteen Candles make me wish, for just 2 hours, that I could see it again knowing nothing about film and Hollywood, including the fact that short actors wear shoe lifts for an extra 4 inches.
