It was a Grammys carpet of champagne colours with a side of lots and lots of nudity. If there was an award for most and best nude, it would be Chappell Roan in Mugler, it was the unveiling of the gown that had me clutching my pearls. I’m not sure why though, since I love a scandalous moment, but this type of look is more expected at the VMAs a la Rose McGowan or Lil Kim.

Then again, whoever said the Grammys weren’t the place for a shocking ensemble must refer to the infamous 2000 ceremony when Jennifer Lopez gave us the green Versace. Chappell is really just taking it to a whole new level.

@cbs She’s got a way…with looking fabulous on a red carpet ❤️ @chappell roan at the 2026 #GRAMMYs ♬ orijinal ses - alls

Chappell opted for a more demure look (in comparison when she presented the award for Best New Artist. If you watch her moment on stage though, you’ll notice that the camera doesn’t even pan down, aside from one REALLY wide shot, lol. Because despite the outfit change, she was committed to the boob plot, from the side this time.

If she wasn’t being looked at, she was being talked about. Sabrina Carpenter, who also gives a nude moment in sheer, made a red carpet comment about how Chappell’s now famous quips with red carpet photographers whipped them into shape. Slay, Miss Roan.

From literal nudity, to plastic nudity, we have Heidi Klum in an custom-molded leather ensemble that pushes as many buttons as Chappell does and is sure to have critics split. She owns the look with complete confidence, even if the dress is a little… well… I’ll let you be the judge.

It’s not exactly the most beautiful dress – I get it, and it might be a little comical in terms of literal style, but I don’t think that’s the point here. The point is to show off her banging bod and I’m not mad. I’m always going to be team free the nipple. If Justin Bieber can perform topless on the live broadcast in his socks and gym shorts, then why the f*ck can’t Heidi Klum have stencils of her nipples and ass on display. While we’re at it, why are media outlets blurring out Chappell Roan’s nipple chains? I’m so tired.

Speaking of banging bods, Teyana Taylor, Teyana Taylor, TEYANA F*CKING TAYLOR. It never ceases to amaze me how jaw droppingly beautiful this woman is, but yet again she has left me stunned. She really is built like a work of art, and it is a treat, our treat, to get to watching her on our screens. Her sparkling golden Tom Ford gown that’s half gown and half just her perfectly sculpted body, left the audience (and Gaga) in compete awe.

 It really is Teyana’s season as she is finally earning recognition for both her acting and her music years but it just took the rest of the world a bit more time to catch up. She was nominated for Best R&B Album (losing to Leon Thomas), and is the current favourite to take home the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress.

Another queen with something to celebrate last night is Tyla who takes home her second Grammy winning Best African Performance for her smash “Push 2 Start”. Tyla’s champagne take comes with feathers and a stunning face beat that is c-nty as f*ck. This is Dsquared2 Fall/Winter 2023 with a hairstyle that matches the flare of the train. Here’s to manifesting a performance of “CHANEL” on next year’s telecast, which is now even more possible as she also announced her new album A-Pop on the carpet.

Rounding out the bubbly looks we have Coco Jones and FKA Twigs. Coco is a dream in tulle while FKA is giving medieval mystical princess complete with what looks like a mini diary and accompanying flower wand. Like I said, a real f*cking princess. FKA won her very first Grammy for Best Dance/Electronic Album, and it gave us this hilarious moment of Darren Criss attempting to pronounce the name of her album EUSEXUA. Hint: it’s very very wrong.
