Zoë, Oscars, Channing
Seeing these new photos of Zoë Kravitz after dinner at Sushi Park with a friend last night reminded me that we haven’t yet covered Zoë’s look at the Vanity Fair Oscar party or the news about Channing Tatum.
Let’s start with the dress. From the front, a pretty standard fitted black gown. Because, of course, the party was in the back. And I love it.

Of all the sheer and almost nude looks of the night, for this was my favourite because of the design imagination. It’s artful chic… and cheek. Ha! But, like, the studding on the sheer section is gorgeous – in certain light, they look like pearls. And then there’s the bow. For me it’s the bow that ties it all together. The bow above the butt is both cute and sexy, provocative but also playful. The bow is like a wink, but also, the bow is like a stem!
So that if you just cut out the bow and the bum, you could be looking at an apple or, better yet, a peach. Juicy, succulent, inviting you to take a bite.
Now to Channing Tatum – they ended their engagement six months ago, and in the March 2025 issue of ELLE, which was released last week, she was asked about whether or not the end of their relationship has changed the way she feels about Blink Twice.
“When I ask how the breakup affected how she feels about the film today, her face crumples with surprise and confusion, the idea downright incomprehensible to her. “Not at all,” she says bluntly. “I love this thing that we made together, and I care for him very much. Even when you bring up how great his performance is, it warms my heart to hear that, and I’m so happy that all of it happened. I just feel so grateful that we got to go on that journey together.”
It’s clear how much affection Kravitz still has for Tatum. “He has so much more coming, and I think he’s in a place as an actor where he’s feeling really confident and people are seeing different sides of him,” she says with a soft smile. “He’s got a lot to offer, so I’m excited for people to keep witnessing that.”
My reaction when I read that was… she broke up with him. This, to me, is how you talk about someone when you’re the one who wanted to leave.
Which brings us to the Vanity Fair party, because Chan was there too. In fact, he chose Oscar weekend to premiere his new girlfriend, model Inka Williams who is 25 years old to his 44. PEOPLE reported yesterday that Inka makes him happy with a source saying that Inka is “young, but seems older”. Lol, is the source Leonardo DiCaprio? Because this has been said about all of Leo’s former girlfriends.
Anyway, where Zoë is concerned, I can’t see this being a problem. She’s already bounced, willingly, so it really doesn’t matter who’s in the spot after she vacated it. Much more interesting where she’s headed next. I can’t f-cking believe I hadn’t thought of Zoë + Michael B Jordan until just now. No one is objecting to this Gossip Genie, right? Seems both impossible, too much to ask for, and also exactly what we want and need. Kinda like Teyana Taylor and Aaron Pierre. Can we go two for two?
