It is officially Friday 13 June in South Korea which means… it’s Festa! Happy 12th anniversary BTS! Festa celebrations are blowing up on social media as it’s already been a joyful week with RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook all discharged after completing their military service. 

 

And there’s more to come as j-hope is playing two shows in Korea on Friday and Saturday so anticipation is high, not only for his performance but also because, of course, everyone’s wondering whether or not his bandmates might show up. 

In other j-hope news, he’s dropping a new single and video tonight, “Killin’ It Girl” feat GloRilla and they gave us a teaser with the poster last night and it’s giving cinema! This is what I sent to the group chat when I saw it:

 

“BTS’s j-hope stars in a new summer romance about a race car driver and the hometown girl he could never forget – Fast & Bangtan, coming to theatres this summer.”

 

What else happened today…

Tracee Ellis Ross stepped out in a cute outfit – red top, big belt, and gorgeous blue striped skirt. The skirt is the showpiece here, although I would not be surprised if it was actually a full dress and this has been layered. (Go Fug Yourself)

It’s been a minute since I’ve rewatched Veronica Mars so I’m not sure if it holds up but considering that I watched it well after it aired, I feel like it probably holds up better than other shows? That's what Dustin Rowles says too and also I just did an interview in which I namechecked Enrico Colantoni, because don’t we all love Enrico Colantoni? Pretty sure Keith Mars will hold up forever. Season three of The Summer I Turned Pretty is coming in just over a month and a new trailer came out yesterday. This is a show that crosses over with the Taylor Swift fandom because so many of Taylor’s songs have been featured – and two of them play in the trailer. Both Jenny Han and Lola Tung are hardcore Swifties, this has been a really smart cross promotional strategy through all three seasons. (EW)
