I’m interested in the different reactions to this video of Jake Gyllenhaal singing his quarantine love song because it divided my friend group. Certain people were all about it. And probably if you were already attracted to Jake, you didn’t mind this at all. For me, I already sometimes have a hard time with musical music. Like talking-music, you know what I mean? When it’s singing dialogue? And when you combine that kind of talking-singing with the singing with the eyes looking away in the distance thing… it just isn’t my thing. (Dlisted)

As Maria mentioned earlier in Celebrity Social Media, Duana and I recorded Show Your Work yesterday and we’re talking about the Alison Roman situation. Here’s an outstanding essay by Roxana Hadadi about why Alison’s interview was insulting, on so many levels, independent of Chrissy Teigen and Marie Kondo. Because this is not just about what Alison said, it’s also bout the platform from which she said it. (Pajiba)

Piers Morgan is now saying he may have “taken things a bit too far” with his comments about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Right. But he’s doing this in an interview and not in one of the mouth-foaming articles he writes for the Daily Mail, which make so much more of an impact than one statement during an interview. And it certainly doesn’t acknowledge the effect that those columns he writes in the Daily Mail have had on people. Will there be an upcoming column reflecting his change of heart? (Cele|bitchy)

I think a lot of us were wearing outfits like the one Helen Hunt wore to the premiere of Twister back in the late 90s. I’m not mad at it. If we’re going back and ranking old trends, I’d take this over that f-cking bandage dress we were all so obsessed with. Was Keanu Reeves in Twister? I don’t think he was. But he showed up to the premiere randomly, as he does. And yes, Kevin Bacon still looks the same. I will never not love this hairstyle on him. (Go Fug Yourself)

Is Kate Middleton’s brother, James, looking more and more like Jude Law to you? (JustJared)
