Javier Bardem was awarded Best Actor at Cannes last night for his work in Inarritu’s Biutiful, sharing the honour with Elio Germano.

Javier has been accompanied in Cannes by Penelope Cruz who has remained very low key, declining to walk at official functions, preferring instead to let her boyfriend work the carpet as she has ducked into the palais without fanfare, sitting beside ma in the theatre. Cute right?

Today the two were photographed leaving Nice and arriving in Spain. She is SO f-cking beautiful, even more so when her hair is loose (this is my dream hair) and she’s casual and candid although I’m surprised about her travel heels. I couldn’t pull my luggage in those travel heels.

As for Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu – have you see his ad for Nike in anticipation of the World Cup? SOOOOO good. It all begins in 18 days. Everything else stops in 18 days.
