There was a Ralph Lauren show in LA last night and Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez showed up, both wearing Ralph Lauren, of course, just like they did for their wedding back in August. You’ll recall, JLo wore not one, not two, but three Ralph Lauren bridal looks on the day – all of them spectacular; by far, in my opinion, the best celebrity wedding look of the year.
This is their first official public appearance since getting married. It’s Mr. & Mrs. Bennifer, for the first time. And they look pretty cute. I particularly like this photo:
It looks like they’re sharing an inside joke. Or it looks like he’s smug, LOL. Whatever it is, the energy is a lot different from how it was 20 years ago when they were at public events over a year into their relationship, when he was starting to take on an expression of wariness. And weariness. This is not the vibe anymore. They are newlyweds, finally.
Also at Ralph Lauren – another Chris. Sarah posted earlier today about scruffy Chris Evans and here’s Chris Pine who is no longer long-haired and bearded. Which is, in my opinion, GOOD. He looks GOOD. He, um, looks a little like Eric Dane, too …which… I’m sorry if that’s a boner killer for you:
Speaking of Eric Dane, the mind goes to Euphoria and if we’re talking Euphoria, check out Angus Cloud who was hanging out with James Marsden, who at first looked to me like Tom Cruise. Do you see it too?
You know whose outfit I love though? This, for me, is the best look of the night: Laura Dern, in a white shirt and tie with a velvet duster. Excellent.
And finally, I am thrilled to see that Kim Woo-bin was there. He is a super popular actor from South Korea who is back from a five year break to seek cancer treatment. He made his return in a successful drama series called Our Blues on Netflix earlier this year and will follow that up with another Netflix series, Black Knight, premiering some time next year. As we have seen at all the fashion weeks and shows over the last year or so, every major fashion house now is making space for Korean talent at their events.
