Before we get into Jennifer Lopez’s fashion slamdunk in London this week, let’s quickly deal with the divorce gossip. Quickly because that’s the JLo way – she had her summer to wallow, but the JLo we know never wallows for long. That said, it’s a little trickier for her this time because she’s promoting Unstoppable, and Ben Affleck is one of the producers. He also produced Cillian Murphy’s latest film, Small Things Like These, and was asked about JLo during one of the junket interviews. I covered this is in Celebrity Social Media earlier this week, he called her performance “spectacular”.
As a gossip blogger and an entertainment reporter, I get why people are asking, and admittedly I would do the same. That soundbite is too juicy to avoid picking. So I’m not going to fake it up on a high horse and claim moral high ground that I don’t deserve to be on. It looked to me, though, that Ben was expecting that question. And JLo? Even if she didn’t expect it, she’s been around long enough to know how to dance away from it. Here’s how she responded when his name came up on the red carpet at the Unstoppable London screening.

She’s gracious, she gives a real answer without giving up anything, and the big takeaway is that there’s nothing to see here except my outfits – so why don’t we get to that. Because she has been serving up a whole week of perfect fall fashion.
Let’s rewind to before she even left for New York and London, casually getting onto the PJ in a gorgeous Dior jacket and skirt and flaunting what’s now the most coveted boot of the season, the Dior D-Idole patent leather gladiator. All from the Fall 2024 ready-to-wear collection.
I, personally, don’t love these, because I am genetically wired to hate a kitten heel. That said, some kitten heels are more offensive than others, and these are actually almost palatable. Also, it’s hard to argue with how she manages to pull this off.
From the Dior set, JLo went to Gucci, and Sarah already mentioned this on Monday so we don’t need to repeat why this is so good for the season and wonderfully suited to her aesthetic but she did share a reel of how she f-cking worked the sh-t out of this set that is worth enjoying.
Her run of cozy fall fabrics continues with this soft turtleneck sweater dress under a gorgeously luxurious coat. If there was any doubt about her mood right now, this should tell you she is feeling herself harddddd.
And then at the Unstoppable photo call yesterday, she brought the boot back out for another Dior head-to-toe fit, styled exactly as it was on runway but somehow so coded to her. She’s always loved the drama of a hat and trenchcoat moment and she brings the right amount of extra required to make the moment count.
And we’re still not done! Because there were parties and other events in London which gave her an opportunity to slink into this LBD …
