This happened early and I’ve been holding on to these two outfits on Jenny Slate, wondering if I’d see anything better as the week went on but I keep coming back to her, and there’s been nothing better. These two looks are pretty f-cking great.
Let’s start with the black and white. The jacket is the showpiece here and gives us the shape. It’s so beautifully cut, nips perfectly at the waist, and falls to exactly the right length. Great shirt choice underneath it too with the black piping around the collar and along the buttons. And these boots. These are GORGEOUS boots. Like riding boots, with a heel – it’s military, it’s polished, it’s so sharp and clean and fresh. She looks good and she feels good too, you can tell.
Speaking of feeling good though…
This grey sweater. Just looking at it makes me want to take a nap in it. For sure it’s soft. And for sure it falls softly. I’m a sucker for a sweater or a sweatshirt that gently slips off the shoulder but maintains its structure. This might be the most well-executed one I’ve ever seen.
