Jessica Alba is spending New Year’s in Mexico with her family. It’s been just over 4 months since she and her husband Cash Warren had baby girl Haven; she looks great in a bikini already. Alba currently has no projects lined up for 2012. But first daughter Honor’s photos were sold in 2008 to OK! Magazine for a reported $1.5 million. Does Haven get more or less? This is what you do when the acting jobs dry up.

Many of you have emailed me for comment on Haven since she was born in August. I generally try to stay away from the baby name discussion because, frankly, I don’t like a lot of names that are actually quite common. It would offend many of you, I promise.

It is considered bad form to tell people what to name or what not to name their children. I know I should observe this rule. But when it comes to Haven, because I know the mommy groups pay attention to these things, please...reconsider.

Haven to me is like Destiny or Ethereal or Luminescent. So, like, future participants on that horrible show Tiaras & Toddlers. Per Duana, Haven won’t be a Supreme Court Justice is what I’m saying. And I really, really want your daughter to become a Supreme Court Justice.
