Jessica Biel was spotted in New York last night after dinner, on Valentine’s Day, without Justin Timberlake. Look, if that’s your thing, and it’s super special to you, go for it, by all means. But getting romantic on the 14th of February doesn’t have to be for everyone. Frankly, sometimes it feels like an imposition. So the fact that Shelfy spent it without her boyfriend? Doesn’t mean much.

The fact that she’s smiling her inflated lips off reassuring you that it doesn’t mean much actually means much more. She’s sullen when it suits her. She’s not so sullen when she has a message to send: that she’s happy, that things are fine, that she and JT are still one. They are indeed. You know that movie Hall Pass that’s about to hit theatres? Two husbands are given a consequence-free week from their wives? Justin has a Hall Pass for this relationship, I’m telling you.

Anyway, Shelfy’s in New York because she’s working on New Year’s Eve. You know, the sequel, appropriately, to Valentine’s Day. Which I’m actually kind of excited for. In that way that you get excited when something’s really really sh-t. It can be thrilling.
