Jessica Chastain was in Venice today. She wore a SAG-AFTRA t-shirt and talked about her attendance and how she felt, that she was nervous about going. But you can tell that she prepared for what she was about to say. Because, like Adam Driver, she articulated exactly why the interim agreements are a way to put the heat on the AMPTP. (Vulture)

I care very much about my nails. I never skip my nail appointment. Part of it is because I hate typing when they’re long but mostly it’s because looking down at my hands and seeing my pretty nails is a small joy a few times a day. Lately my nail mood has been pretty neutral. I like a shade called “Bubble Bath” by OPI that’s a clear-ish pink, and on top of it a vertical or diagonal stripe. And also light sandy shades. Turns out this is on trend? They’re calling it “rich girl nails”. Chrome is also a thing right now, as is what’s called “aura”. (PopSugar)

So there were cops in the UK who were busted for spreading racist messages about Meghan Markle. But sure, let’s continue to deny that racism is a problem within British institutions and that she and Prince Harry shouldn’t have had safety concerns. (Cele|bitchy)

Back in the day, well before TikTokers were doing gossip analysis, after Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston broke up and Brangelina took over, Kitson sold t-shirts that read either “Team Aniston” or “Team Jolie”. That obviously wouldn’t go down the same way today, but seeing Olivia Rodrigo in a t-shirt with Angelina’s face on it just reminded me of that time. This, obviously, isn’t about that whole triangle. She’s simply a fan of Angie – as she should be! (Go Fug Yourself)

Speaking of Olivia, her new album, Guts, is now available and I haven’t had a chance to give it a full listen yet but I like the first two singles and I like her a lot and I LOVE Constance Grandy’s piece on her “sincerity and rage”. (Vox)
