What’s up with the Coen Brothers? Is glib the right word? They were glib. They were honoured by the Academy and instead of being grateful, they were glib. Does being arty give you the right to be glib and ungrateful?

And Jon Stewart – love Jon Stewart but wasn’t all that impressed with Jon Stewart. Except for the baby jokes. When he pointed out Alba, Cate, and Nicole – and the baby goes to… Angelina Jolie!

Amazing.

Not so amazing – John farking Travolta. We get it, dude. You can fly a plane. Why in the name of all holy Xenu do we need to be reminded of it during the Oscars???

Still… in spite of the Scientologists and the narcissists (Heigl) and the growing hate-on for Miley Cyrus, my Marion and Javier more than made up for it all.
