I like the 70s vibe of this dress. I also like that she wore it with booties, although these booties wouldn’t have been my choice. Julianne Moore for sure has a better bootie in her closet. Or in a box, just sent over from a designer.
You know what the problem is here though? The dress is the right size. It’s the size that “fits”. But wouldn’t it look even better if it was a size UP? To say that we are size obsessed is incomplete. We are obsessed with the SMALLEST size we can be. And it’s limiting because sometimes? Sometimes the size up improves the outfit. Sometimes the sweater just hangs better, the skirt just sits better, the coat just swings better. I feel like this dress could have been better on Julianne if it was just a size bigger.
