Justin Bieber is heading into the Grammys this year with four nominations, including Album of the Year. Over the course of his career, while he’s been nominated many times, he has two wins. Both of those wins, however, for “Where Are Ü Now” and “10000 Hours" are not solo tracks. So it’ll be interesting to see how the Recording Academy rates this album. Because for all that’s been said and written about Justin Bieber, as MC posted earlier this year, he is a towering figure in music and pop culture for multiple generations from Zillennials to Alpha, Justin Bieber is one of the biggest celebrity legends to emerge in their time. From that perspective, he may not be as… appreciated as he could be. 

 

JB makes headlines all the time, but over the last week he’s been particularly active. A few days ago he went viral for pulling over to help a man whose car had broken down.

There were some people who doubted that this was real, that it actually happened, which I get, like that’s where we are now because so much of what we see online is manufactured. I believe this one, though. I believe it when the person says that he’s turning off his phone so that they can have an authentic interaction. I believe that JB would 100% pray with a man on the side of the road. And I believe that he was genuinely affected by it in the moment, when he was having such a rough day, and then Justin Bieber just … materialises. 

 

Speaking of cars, though, the latest today is that the Cadillac that was featured in the “Peaches” video is up for auction. Maybe that’s what the setup is if that random encounter does turn out to be a fraud, LOL. I choose not to be cynical about it, though. It’s better for us that it is exactly what it looked like it was. 

 

And then, because we can’t go a goddamn week without some kind of speculation about his marriage, the f-ckasses online were trying to rumour, again, that Justin and Hailey might be off because he wasn’t in the photos she shared online from her birthday party last week. This is what she posted on IG stories yesterday – he was there for the birthday events on the weekend:

Finally, JB was papped the other day playing golf. You can see the photos here. They tried to make it a whole thing, like it’s illegal, which is kinda telling on themselves that they’ve never played golf because anyone who has can confirm that, well, this happens every day on a golf course. It just happened at the Masters earlier this year!

What’s more notable, to me at least, is what Justin is wearing. At the fancy ass clubs where he would be playing, there are dress codes – clearly they don’t apply to celebrities, but if anyone else rocked up to the course in jean jorts they’d be told to change because the crusty f-cks who manage those places are super tight ass about attire. And exceptions only happen when you’re Justin Bieber or equivalent, not to a regular degular.
