And I agree with the FUG Girls’ choice of the one in 2018. What’s also showstopping is that her dresses are often so dramatic, they require an entourage. Hip-hop lost a giant in Andre Harrell. Music is so personal to so many of us and in my case, the music he produced was basically the soundtrack of my adolescence and early adulthood. I made and lost friendships with Heavy D playing in the background. I fell in love listening to Jodeci. I started figuring out who I was hearing Mary J Blige.
