Prince William and Catherine were at St James’s Palace last night for the 100 Women in Hedge Funds gala dinner, raising money for the Child Bereavement Charity.
Kate seems to favour this jersey material. I think it’s a little on the...casual side? Or maybe it’s that belt tie that’s throwing me off. Don’t like it at all. It’s a wrap dress. You wear it to the office. Make it longer, as she’s done here, and suddenly it’s a robe.

Look how excited those ladies are to be at dinner with the Cambridges. This is obviously why they chose to direct their gift to one of Will’s charities. That’s the whole point of his patronage. You could argue then that their wedding is benefiting the disenfranchised. That’ll go over well with the anti-monarchists.
