Kate Moss and Pete Doherty – after throwing him out dramatically and leaking to the papers her commitment to staying away from him and getting in shape and going to the gym and focusing on her daughter – well, of course they’re back together. For almost a week now the two have been shacked up in secret at Claridges, throwing raucous parties, probably getting sh-tfaced stoned.
Evidently calling her a “nasty old rag” during a very revealing interview with one of the British tabs won her heart back. Pathetic. You recall also, in the same interview, Pete also exposed Kate’s hypocritical support of the Mirror, the same paper that documented her cocaine use. And despite telling friends he was a traitor and a rat, Kate couldn’t help herself. He called and called, he begged and begged, and she told him it was the others – that “they” stopped her from seeing him, that “they” wouldn’t let her. So she has defied them, preferring instead to carry on a relationship in secret, immature enough to believe that secret love is sexy love, that forbidden love is the best love, that Crack Love is forever.
