People always want to believe – and I’ve never understood this – that Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio had a thing in real life. They also wanted them to work together again after Titanic. And they did. They played a dysfunctional couple. Because where else can you go after Jack and Rose? Now Kate Winslet and James Cameron are the ones reuniting. I’m not sure anyone asked for this though. (Dlisted)

Help me because I cannot decide if I like this look on Michelle Dockery. I think I do? I don’t think I do. The sleeves I’m into. The pattern too. But the neckline might be too casual. That’s probably what’s throwing me off. The plain ass boring shoes. And the sheer part with the gap on the chest is totally unnecessary. Overall then, I guess it’s a no? (Go Fug Yourself)

Did you watch black-ish last night? I did not. Because I forgot that it’s now on a new night! And my TV homework last night was catching up on the new season premiere of Curb Your Enthusiasm. I was actually looking forward to watching black-ish tonight, after Harvest Moon family dinner. Which I know I can still do. But it meant reading about black-ish all day without having seen it already. Still an enjoyable experience, that’s how much I love the show. (The Atlantic)

As a very superstitious person, I would HATE to be the Queen in that she knows that people are constantly talking about what’s going to happen when she’s not around anymore. That there are people who are actively planning for the day. That said, she’s one of the few people who knows ahead of time what will happen immediately when she’s not around anymore. She’ll know exactly the words people will say, because she will likely have approved of the script. And she’ll know the songs they’ll sing. She will probably know exactly what people will wear. What she will no longer be able to dictate, however, is the exact degree of anyone’s eagerness. Or reluctance. (Celeb Dirty Laundry)

Forty years ago, groupies were admired. Maybe not openly but people were jealous of them. Because, of course, they had the access. And they had the affairs. Do we still feel the same about groupies? Do people still secretly envy their experiences? Or has the democratisation of celebrity lowered the status of the groupie as well? (Jezebel)

Taylor Swift loves awards. She used to love winning awards and looking surprised. Then she started winning awards defiantly, giving speeches that were like subtweets to her enemies. Well, one enemy. Now that the old Taylor is dead, what is her new award acceptance strategy? Get ready, because I think we’re about to find out. (Vanity Fair)
